How to test DYP-ME007 Ultrasonic range finder using NE555 and Multimeter

This article is about testing DYP- ME007 ultrasonic range finder. First of all you need to follow the following steps:

a. Make an astable multivibrator on breadboard using 555 that produces pulses at an interval of 10- 30 us.

The circuit arrangement would look like this:

Then fix ultrasonic range finder module as shown in the picutre below:

Insert the Module on breadboard.

Then connect the circuit to your multimeter.

OUTPUT:

If there is any obstacle near the range finder, the voltage output is near to 0V and when there is no obstacle the output is around 5 V.
