4 x 100W Class D Bluetooth Audio Amplifier Board – TSA8498
This is a 4x100W audio amplifier board with Audio B plus Bluetooth module. It has integrated 2xST high performance TDA7498 chip which supports dual channel audio amplification. Each channel is capable of giving nominal power output simultaneously and continuously. This board can be powered by any DC 14V-39V* power supply.
Power input port can be power jack or screw terminal. The DC input jack is 2.5mm with positive core polarity and if you use screw terminal, please pay attention to the polarity! Wrong polarity will blow up your board.
It has a smart cooling system, however, the fan does not operate in normal condition to reduce the noise.
The fan only starts when the chip temperature exceeds 65°C. Once the temperature goes down, the fan stop running.
It is perfect for your Hi-Fi audio application, the audio source can be an RCA input or Bluetooth. It is compatible with all the Bluetooth devices that support media audio including iPhone and Android. Let your smartphone pair up with this board and play a piece of music.
- MUTE: Connect MUTE pin to GND pin. The amplifier board will go into mute state.
- STBY: Connect STBY pin to GND pin. The amplifier board will go into standby state to save the board power.
- B/A: Connect B/A pin to GND pin. The Bluetooth input will always be the audio source no matter which audio source is selected by the switch position.
Note: We have tested it. It also works well with 12VDC power also, but, we suggest you to use DC 14V-39V power if possible.
